The eccentrically macabre Addams Family moves to a bland suburb where Wednesday Addams’ friendship with the daughter of a hostile and conformist local reality show host exacerbates conflict between the families.

In the 21st century, a corporation develops human clones to be used as slaves in colonies outside the Earth, identified as replicants. In 2019, a former police officer is hired to hunt down a fugitive group of clones living undercover in Los Angeles.

This film is rated R. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. It is free and movie-goers may bring their own snacks and covered non-alcoholic beverages.

Game Night for Friends, Family, and People with Disabilities

This game night is intended to offer a fun environment for friends, family, and people with disabilities to gather and enjoy themselves. Simple games will be provided such as chess, checkers, Uno, and basic playing cards. Light snacks and soft drinks will be offered. This group is open to anyone 13 and up. If you would like to bring a game of your own you’re welcome to do so.

This group is coordinated by Emin, who was born and raised in Chicago. He was diagnosed with relapsing remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) in 2006. Due to a complication from the medication he was on he contracted and survived an infection called Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). He moved to Dekalb nearly four years ago in search of a less stressful lifestyle and a slower pace than Chicago.

Academic Duel

How would you like to be challenged in an academic match? Be the first to answer the question and get a point/ or card. Add up your cards/ points and turn them in for prizes. You may be answering questions on vocabulary, world history, mathematics, science, famous world landmarks and additional subjects. Audience invited to cheer them on.

Stranger Things Trivia Night

Calling all Stranger Things lovers and trivia lovers! Think you know anything and everything about the show? Come test your knowledge at our trivia night! Depending on the number of people, we will work in teams or alone.

Extra points if you dress up as a character from the show!

Trivia Night is a free event for adults and there is no registration required.

Tuesday Movie: A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)

Lloyd Vogel is an investigative journalist who receives an assignment to profile Fred Rogers, aka Mr. Rogers. He approaches the interview with skepticism, as he finds it hard to believe that anyone can have such a good nature. But Roger’s empathy, kindness and decency soon chips away at Vogel’s jaded outlook on life, forcing the reporter to reconcile with his own painful past.

3D Print a Clover Keychain

Join us as we learn the free, web-based 3D design program TinkerCAD and design your own clover keychain. After class, the clover keychain will be 3D printed and available for pick up in a few days to a few weeks depending on printer availability.

Participants need to be at least 12 years old (10 and 11 year olds are welcome with an assisting accompanying adult). The ticket line for technology programs starts at the Tech Desk.
