The DeKalb County Convention and Visitors Bureau and Northern Illinois University (NIU) are proud to be hosting the Illinois Elementary School Association (IESA) State Wrestling Finals for its 22nd year. We anticipate more than 5,000 visitors will attend this two-day event. Finals will be held at the Convocation Center on the campus of Northern Illinois University, DeKalb on Friday & Saturday, March 13th & 14th.
Admission doors for spectators open at 10:00a.m. on Friday and 8:00a.m. on Saturday. Daily admission fees: K-8 and senior citizens – $5.00; Adults – $10.00. Advanced ticket sales will be available through Ticketmaster beginning Monday, March 9th. We’re selling our entire inventory of gently used books, music CDs, DVDs, and vinyl albums. Proceeds will enhance our public library’s programs and services.

Join us as we learn the free, web-based 3D design program TinkerCAD and design your own clover keychain. After class, the clover keychain will be 3D printed and available for pick up in a few days to a few weeks depending on printer availability.
Participants need to be at least 12 years old (10 and 11 year olds are welcome with an assisting accompanying adult). The ticket line for technology programs starts at the Tech Desk. Tickets are handed out 30 minutes prior to the program’s start time. Class size is limited, sign-up begins a half-hour before class at the Tech Desk—first come first serve.
