Sycamore Park District Job Fair to Help Fill New and Existing Positions

The Sycamore Park District is growing! With the opening of the Community Center featuring Pathway Fitness and Splash Mountain this spring the District is looking for enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join the team. At the Sycamore Park District Job Fair on Saturday, January 13, learn about all the exciting positions at the District – new and existing. This is a great opportunity to interact with staff, get your questions answered, submit your application, and share your resume. In addition, some staff will be conducting on-site interviews and/or scheduling interviews for a later date.

The event will take place from 1-4pm in the Golf Course Clubhouse, 940 E state Street in Sycamore. It is free to attend, and no registration is necessary.

NIU Spring Internship and Job Fair

The NIU Internship and Job Fair offers students the chance to network and impress potential employers, who rely on our fairs as an important source for identifying and hiring new talent. You will be able to connect with NIU Huskies for internships and full-time positions on the same day with a one-day career fair format.

The Internship and Job Fair will be open to undergraduates, graduating seniors, graduate students, alumni, and non-NIU candidates from all majors. DeKalb Park District Seasonal Job Fair

The DeKalb Park District will be hosting a community job fair on Thursday, April 5th, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM in the Terrace Room at the Hopkins Community Center (1403 Sycamore Road, DeKalb).

Representatives from the park district will be available to answer questions, assist with completing job applications and to conduct onsite interviews.

The park district offers employment opportunities for teens and adults alike, with flexible work schedules and a wide range of jobs.

We are looking to fill the following seasonal positions for the upcoming 2018 season:

  • Golf Operations – clubhouse & concessions attendants.
  • Parks Maintenance – seasonal maintenance & custodians.
  • Aquatic Center – assistant pool managers, lifeguards, swim instructors, concessions & cashiers.
  • Program Instructors – camp counselors, educational & recreationfitness instructors.
  • Sport Programs – baseballsoftball umpires, scorekeepers & athletic field supervisors.
  • Customer Service – pool admissions & front desk greeters.

Kishwaukee College Adjunct Faculty Job Fair 2018

Kishwaukee College is excited to announce we will be holding an Adjunct Faculty Job Fair!

Where: Kishwaukee College, Conference Center, Dining Room

Kishwaukee College employs over 150 of the best and brightest Adjunct Faculty and Training Specialists. We always have a demand for experienced professionals to instruct our passionate students. Kishwaukee College offers all of the traditional courses associated with a community college as well as a very strong offering of non-traditional courses in our Career Technologies and Workforce and Community Education Divisions. The college also needs professional tutors, to provide academic support in mathematics, sciences, career technology education, and high school equivalency.

Most of our Adjunct Faculty positions require a Master’s degree with at least 18 hours graduate hours in the course discipline. The Career Technologies, Training Specialists, and tutors positions require a minimum of a bachelors level degree, with industry experience (2000 hours) or credential related to the courses.
