Easter in the Country Craft Sale

39th ANNUAL “EASTER IN THE COUNTRY” Arts, Crafts and Bake Sale at the Sandwich High School, Lynn Haskin Grade School
and the Sandwich Middle School.

The 39th Annual “Easter in The Country” Arts, Crafts and Bake Sale will be held on Saturday March 10, 2018, from 9AM to 4PM in Sandwich, Illinois. The show is only one day this year. This show is held at the Sandwich High School, Lynn Haskin Grade School and the Sandwich Middle School. The Grade School address is 720 South Wells Street and it is located between the other two schools.

As usual, there will be a shuttle bus service to make easy access to all three buildings. So stop by Sandwich and see beautiful crafts such as painted windows, needle felting, pop can jewelry, hair bows, spoon jewelry, dog treats and handmade baskets. There will be 110 crafters representing 60 Illinois towns and the states of Indiana, Iowa and Wisconsin.

Admission will be $3.00 and your stamped hand will allow you into each building.
NO STROLLERS and no smoking will be allowed in any building.
Lunch will be available in the High School and Middle School.
Instant Door Prize Drawing will be in the Middle School again this year.

Autumn Craft and Treasures Market

The 46th annual Autumn Craft & Treasures Market, sponsored by the Sycamore Music Boosters and partnering with Heartland Bank, is part of the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival weekend October 27 & 28, 2018. This event will be held at the Sycamore High School Fieldhouse, Saturday, October 27 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sunday, October 28 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There are close to 200 vendors featuring a wide variety of quality crafts, handmade wood products, specialty items such as wool products, candles, spices, candies, antiques, ceramics and much more. Craft & Treasures Market admission fees are: Adults $2.00; Senior Citizens $1.00; Students Kindergarten – 12th grade $1.00; children under 5 free. Free Parking. A handicapped lot will be available on the North side of the field house just off Johnson Avenue. There will be golf cart shuttles running during operating hours. Please note: No animals allowed except those used for special needs assistance. Various student music groups perform on Saturday.

Vendor applications are being accepted as space is available. Applications received after August 1 incur a $30.00 fee and will be put on stand by and admitted if space is still available. Sycamore Music Boosters is a volunteer organization composed of families and friends of students enrolled in music education classes in Sycamore Schools with the focus and goals to promote excellence in music education. Currently over 600 students are enrolled in elective music programs in grades 4-12, as well as all elementary music programs. The primary source of funds for Sycamore Music Boosters is the annual Autumn Craft & Treasures Market.
