Registration for Strength & Stability 2019 Classes

Our Strength & Stability Classes focus on balance activities to improve balance, flexibility, strength, prevent falls, enhance energy levels, increase confidence of performing daily activities, and more. Participants can expect to have an interactive and fun workout experience! Please be sure to speak to your physician before beginning any exercise program.

Strength and Stability classes are offered at various locations and times as follows:
1. Our main clinic located at 3266 Sycamore Road in DeKalb offers three different meeting times: Monday/Wednesday from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm, Tuesday/Thursday from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm, or Tuesday/Thursday from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

2. Classes are also held at our Genoa location at 540 E. Main Street in Genoa and meets Tuesday/Thursday from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm. This class fills quickly so please call us at 815.784.6417 to see if spots are available.

3. New added location at our Sandwich location at 523 E. Railroad Street in Sandwich! This class meets on Tuesday/Thursday from 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm.

These classes run for 5 weeks and include 10 sessions. Sessions repeat every 5 weeks with the opportunity to renew enrollment each session.

Space is limited and classes fill quickly, so please contact us at 815.756.8524 or stop in at any office to inquire about availability and to register. Class fees are $60.00 for 10 sessions.

2019 Barn Tour

Saturday, August 10, 2019, 9am-4pm

The 2019 Barn Tour will be in Victor Township, located at the mid-point on the southern county line of DeKalb County.  The tour includes eight barns of various architectural styles. Many have livestock. All have interesting histories.
The DeKalb County Barn Tour is a one-day driving tour of barn sites within DeKalb County hosted by the DeKalb Area Agricultural Heritage Association, Inc. and the JF Glidden Homestead & Historical Center. Participants will receive a map and guide book containing hand-drawn sketches of each barn as well as the barn’s history, style and use. For an additional price, five-year anniversary books will be available. Participants drive to each location in any order for a tour of the barn(s). Purchase your event ticket at any of the eight locations. Be aware that this is an outdoor activity that may involve walking on uneven ground.

Admission is $25 per vehicle (buses extra) (museum members receive a $5 discount).
